It was a very good weekend for Nigerians in the Barclays

Peter Odemwingie scored for Stoke City - his sixth goal since joining the
club in January - as the Potters condemned Fulham to relegation with a 4-1 win.
Odemwingie has been in great form and has now scored seven goals in 29 league appearances for both Cardiff and Stoke City this season. Shola Ameobi also scored in the Premier League at the weekend. Serie A Victor Obinna was not listed for Chievo in the 0-1 loss to Torino at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi. Joel Obi was not listed as Parma beat Sampdoria 2-0 at Stadio Ennio Tardini. Portugal (Liga Sagres) John Ogu was an unused substitute for Académica Coimbra in the 0-0 draw with Vitória Guimarães at Estádio EFAPEL. “Bundle of skills” Christian Obodo and unheralded youngster, Femi Balogun both played all 90 minutes as Olhanense beat FC Porto 2-0 at Estádio José Arcanjo.
